Program: Katadyn Connerley & Laura Mickler presents: “The Benefits of Having a Coach!”
About Laura Mickler: Laura Mickler is a Mindset Coach, yogi, and a huge believer in saying “why not!?” in response to people saying you can’t do something. Her coaching focuses on determining, manifesting & implementing the big dreams we have and helping people recognize their burnout. She spent more than a decade in the corporate financial world and walked away to coach and start her yoga studio. Laura preaches that money follows when you realize what your assignment here on Earth is.  Her work in her company, The Branch Collective, includes writing, Coaching, and owning Sacred Steps Yoga Studio & Store. She lives in Yorktown with her husband, Alex, 2 boys- Rowan & Milo, and puppies Teddy & Poppy.
About Katadyn Connerly:  Katadyn is a passionate small business owner for 12 years and a business consultant. She has a Bachelor of Science from Ball State University and has been a residential real estate appraiser for 17 years. Katadyn loves helping people transform their dreams into reality and empowering entrepreneurs with organizational brilliance! In her time off from work, she loves hiking, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. Katadyn is the mother to one small human and a Boston terrier, who both keep her on her toes!
What is coaching and where in your life have you experienced having a coach? Coaches are to guide you. Hiring a coach is an investment with a 700% return on your investment. We’ve had coaches for sports, business, sales, fitness, and professional associations.
Laura had a coach when she worked in the mortgage industry and was always the top salesperson. Laura focuses on being a mindful coach. Mindset Coaching works for business, personal, and the whole person. She helps you figure out what your blind spots are and if there are things you haven’t considered. She will challenge you, hold you accountable, and talk through why things didn’t get done. She will work with you to figure out the real root of why you have self-doubt. The program that Laura likes to us is the “Why Not” program. For example…if her clients state that they can’t do it, she will ask them why not. She will help her clients find out why they are telling themselves that they can’t do it.
Why Katadyn is a business coach and what can she do for you? After 3 years of being in business, she was at her limit but she wanted to do more. She started doing all of the hiring and firing for her business. She was ready to grow her business and have a team of employees. She hired a business coach and with her coach, she took her business to 2 employees to 7 and increased revenue within 2 years. She has been able to take a vacation and enjoy time with her son. It is all about having a system and that is what she can help you with as a coach. You can have a balance of work and life.
SCORE reported that 72% of small business owners struggle to set goals for their businesses. 45% of businesses fail within the first 5 years.
A mindset coach can help you with:
Developing clear and actionable strategies
Identify roadblocks that hinder your growth
Spark creative ideas for your business
Build a systemized approach for your sales goals, social media, etc.
Think of a question that you have about your business or work. If you had the answer right now, you would be on the smoothest paved road.
Find a coach that works for you. Do a consultation with them and do your homework before you hire one.
